[ARCHIVED] Peachtree Corners Mayor Mike Mason Joins Representatives from Valmet for their Grand Opening

On Wednesday, May 11th, the City of Peachtree Corners Mayor, Mike Mason, joined members of Valmet’s leadership team and employees to celebrate the grand opening of their new North American headquarters on Davinci Court in Peachtree Corners.

Valmet is a Finnish-based global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation, and services for the pulp, paper, and energy industries.  Including their automation systems and flow control solutions, the company serves an even wider base of process industries. 

During the grand opening ceremony, Mayor Mason joined Valmet CEO Pasi Laine, Area President of North America Jukka Tiitinen, and Tim Betteridge, Vice President of Automation Systems North America in celebrating the new location and offering words of support and gratitude to Valmet employees and visitors.  “I’m proud of the hard work that has been put into the new Valmet North American headquarters here in Peachtree Corners and I’m glad to call it my home base,” says Jukka Tiitinen, Area President, North America.

Approximately 80 people were on hand for the ceremony, ribbon-cutting, and champagne toast.  Visitors included corporate leadership, company employees, and representatives from the Finnish American chamber of commerce and Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry, Inc. (TAPPI).

Along with the grand opening, Valmet is currently hiring for a variety of positions at the Peachtree Corners location.  Open positions can be found online at Current Openings in Peachtree Corners.
