Regulations for Posting Political Signs
You may have noticed a number of political signs popping up along roadsides and intersections of the city. The City of Peachtree Corners will hold a municipal election on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Council seats for Post 2, 4 and 6 are up for election.
Political signs are permitted without a permit in yards and windows as long as they meet certain size and location requirements.
- Signs may not be located in street rights-of-way, in medians or on any public property (park, library, post office, city hall, etc.)
- Signs may not be attached to traffic control devices such as speed limit or stop signs.
- Roof and moving signs are prohibited.
- No signs may be placed on private property without the owner’s permission.
