Plans for a veterans’ monument to honor Peachtree Corners military veterans are underway. The monument will be located on the city’s new 21-acre Town Center in a prominent location on the Town Green and will be a fitting tribute to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who have served or are currently serving our country.

To accomplish this important task, a group of dedicated volunteers formed the Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument Association (PCVMA) in June 2015.PCVMA is a nonprofit, IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. The volunteers raise funds and coordinate design and construction plans. You can review their progress to date and detailed plans for this monument on the PCVMA website.

PCVMA has initiated a final fund-raising outreach campaign in the the Peachtree Corners community to reach its fall goal of raising the funds needed to build the monument. This monument is the first significant nonprofit civic project undertaken in our 5 -year old city. It has been exciting and inspiring to watch this small team of volunteers come together to envision such a remarkable and lasting gift to our city and its veterans. They have my full and enthusiastic support.

Please consider supporting the Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument either through a donation or by purchasing a customized paver. You may find details on how to donate to PCVMA here. If you wish to speak to a PCVMA board member, complete the information under the Contact Us tab on the website and one of the members will be in touch with you.
