Our main speaker will be Marcia Brandes and the topic will be travel photography. Enjoy a whirlwind photographic tour of the world while learning how to decide what kind of travel might be best for you. Get ideas for exciting places to visit. See examples of how to quickly turn a snapshot into an image you can be proud of. Travel photography offers the opportunity to capture it all – Nature and Wildlife, People and Culture, Architecture, Experiences, Macro, Abstract and sometimes photos that are just plain fun. Marcia will open with a short explanation of the pros and cons of three types of travel: commercial tour groups, photography tours, and independent itineraries. She’ll offer suggestions for researching each of these travel opportunities and will share a wide range of examples from her journeys to show the diversity and excitement of travel photography. She will end with before and after examples showing how simple corrections can take your travel photos to the next level
