Comprehensive Transportation Plan
The City of Peachtree Corners has created and adopted a Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) that will guide transportation improvements and investments in the area. This plan included an assessment of transportation project needs and recommendations across the City. It will be used as a planning document for the next 20 years of the city’s Capital Improvement Program. The process included public involvement and public meetings to solicit input from every interested citizen or member of the business community.
The Plan consists of recommendations for transportation improvements, which include, but are not limited to, intersections, roadway widenings, sidewalks, bike facilities, and trails, to maintain and expand the City’s infrastructure while fostering a healthy, livable city.

Public Involvement in the CTP
Residents attended the city's two public meetings to develop the Comprehensive Transportation Plan: the Project Kick Off meeting on August 11, 2016 and a Community meeting on Nov. 17, 2016. Residents were also invited to participate in an online survey. Nearly 100 residents attended the two city meetings and over 1,200 took part in the online CTP survey. The city will use the input to help create a planning document that will include intersection improvements, roadway widenings, sidewalks, bike facilities, trains, and other transportation infrastructure needs.
The Comprehensive Transportation Plan will assist in developing the city's Capital Improvement Program, a document that will serve as a guide for the next 20 years. Thank you for your help and involvement in improving our city's infrastructure and making Peachtree Corners a better, healthier, and more livable place.
