Building & Permitting
The Building Division serves to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public and enhance the general quality of life in the City of Peachtree Corners through interpretation and enforcement of the Georgia State Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Codes, as well as other applicable regulations governing construction and land use.

City Marshal
The City Marshal’s Office was created to be a resource for filling gaps in services between the City’s Code Enforcement Officers and those of the Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD). GCPD however, will continue to serve as the first-line policing agency for the City of Peachtree Corners and will continue to lead all emergency response, dispatch, and 911 services.

The mission of the Code Enforcement Division is to enforce The City of Peachtree Corners ordinances in order to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the community.

Communications & Public Affairs
The Communications Department maintains the city’s website, calendar, social media channels, creates e-newsletters, brochures, and issues press releases.

Community Development
The City of Peachtree Corners Community Development Department works with residents, developers, the City Council, as well as the Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, the Downtown Development Authority to carry out long-range city planning initiatives, land development, building construction and code compliance.

The Finance Department of the City of Peachtree Corners provides a range of financial services including budgeting, auditing, accounts payable, payroll, forecasting, financial analysis, and support to other departments within the City.

Planning & Zoning
Planning is responsible for formulating policy recommendations and programs to guide future growth and development in the City of Peachtree Corners. Zoning governs the specific use, height, area of land and density of development allowed on a property.

Police, Fire, & Emergency Services
The City of Peachtree Corners provides police and fire services through private/public partnerships and intergovernmental agreements with other governmental agencies including Gwinnett County.
